Highlighting the benefits of an inclusive approach

The IET is a world leading professional organisation which inspires, informs and influences the global engineering and technology community. The Inclusive Thinking campaign was created to gather feedback and learn what was being done in the industry to ensure workplaces, labs and products are being designed with accessibility needs in mind.

The campaign included the roll out of their Inclusive Thinking Hub, which connected their community to resources and advice to develop their own accessible working practices.

I worked on this project during my time at Frank, Bright & Abel

One of the initial steps was coming up with a snappy name which highlighted the campaign purpose. I chose to focus on the knowledge sharing side of the project - ‘pass it on’ - and I created an additional lock-up for the new knowledge sharing bank, the ‘Inclusive Thinking Hub’.

A big part of the project was researching and showcasing useful examples of inclusive thinking. This campaign is about accessibility, diversity, and inclusion so it was important that we show what is already being done in a way that the IET community can recognise and engage with.
