Helping kids see a future with science

The #TeamScience campaign aimed to make science subjects more popular among children aged 8 to 13 - an age group who responded that studying science could only lead to a career in a lab. The campaign aimed to show how many career options are available to those with a science background.

The project is planned to run for the 5 years and will be seen by schoolchildren up and down the country at events, online and in their classrooms.

I worked on this project during my time at Design102


I created a broad suite of illustrations which could be used to show the different roles and careers that this campaign champions. These are combined with the cut out photography to add colour and context.

 


One key consideration was creating a brand style which could be used and adapted by their in house team. Cut out collaged images were a hit for practical reasons as well as the hands-on visual style they gave.
