Record Store Day is an annual celebration of independent record shops and vinyl. In 2015 I was responsible for mapping the events taking place on Berwick Street in London. This single street was home to 5 different record shops, with a number of performances and events to mark the occasion. I designed and illustrated these z-cards to help visitors navigate and enjoy the busy area.
It was important that the z-card worked for informed attendees and unintentional visitors alike. For this reason I included a brief history of RSD as well as a map of the area listing participating stores.
Rather than show a specific genre or type of music enthusiast, I created colourful close-up illustrations of people enjoying their records.
